Will Custom Magnets Stick to My Fridge?
Custom magnets stick to steel. Most white, black, and painted fridges have a steel door, so they work great. Many stainless steel fridges don’t, because a lot of stainless steel isn’t magnetic. Not sure? Try a magnet you already own on the spot you want to use. If it holds, ours will too.

How to Design a Fridge Magnet People Keep
A promo magnet only works if it stays on the fridge. People toss the ones that look like ads and keep the ones that do something for them. Design for the second pile.
Make it useful. A magnet with a schedule, a calendar, an emergency number, or a kitchen conversion chart earns its spot. A logo by itself gets moved to the junk drawer.
